Kaspian Kondrat is a Toronto-based artist, working primarily in oil paint. Kaspian's work can be recognized through his high levels of contrast, subtle but resonant emotional qualities, and frequent use of pattern and texture.
Graduating from OCAD University in 2022 from the illustration program, Kaspian's work often combines traditional painterly practices with more graphic elements.

How long have you been creating art?
Painting for 4 years, drawing for as long as I can remember.
What kind of artwork do you have in your home?
Both prints and originals from friends & fellow artists.
What do you listen to when you work?
Full concerts or full albums, but no specific genre.
Who do you consider a genius?
Egon Schiele
Favourite medium
Oil! Took a year to get used to, but has been my choice media for three years now.
Which piece of art you've created is your favourite, and why?
"Jason - Ground to Pieces" I was very pleased with the emotional quality, concept and technical execution. It is also a portrait of a friend which also makes it a personal favourite.
